today i saw a most startling scene.
entering Timmy H.'s I noticed the fact a lady and a little girl were sitting across from each other.
then, it happened.
at next glance the lady was fumbling with a slider-texter-superfantastic-wiz-bang-too-many-features-phone.
the girl...just sat there drinking her warm beverage.
i was so startled by this because...for the duration of my brief, in-line buying a sandwich for supper experience, the lady persisted to call and text and ... essentially ignore the little girl.
[and this is only one encounter i have noticed of this out of body too global 'connectedness'.
when will we realize we are ignoring those who are right there in front of us.
no wonder kids are so flippin' screwed...
it seems big people with texty phones are more important than little girls who simply want to be appreciated.
remember, we are the first generation growing up with this technology.]

and the little girl simply looked around to see someone who...cares.
